HAPPY 45TH ANNIVERSARY TO SARAWAK TEACHERS' UNION

The year 2010 is an important year for Sarawak Teachers' Union as we are celebrating our 45th Anniversary. In conjunction with the anniversary, STU Kuching Division is planning to carry out activities such as Blood Donation, Health Talk, Professional Development Course, Karaoke competition, Moon Cake Making Workshop, Festive Celebration, and etc. All members of the STU Kuching Division are encouraged to participate in the activities being planned by the Division.

For the information of all the members, we had initiated membership drive campaign from 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2011. During the campaign, any member from the Division who have recruited new members for the division will be rewarded attractive incentives (Refer to "The Link" Vol.1/2009-2011 or at our Website http:stu.cdc.net.my). Do promote STU to fellow teachers for we have such a noble motto "SOCIAL, JUSTICE AND PEACE" with our vision " A JUST AND PROFESSIONALLY EFFECTIVE TEACHERS' ORGANISATION".

To all the Division committees members for term 2009 - 2011, I hope that we can work closely as a team to carry our activities that had been planned. I would like to give my sincere appreciation to all the past committee members for their good work. Lastly but not least, I would like to thank the President of STU and CWC for giving us full support in running the STU Kuching Division.
